As part of the IAPA International Adventure Park Meeting 2017 in Berlin, the IAPA, in cooperation with the magazine Oben, is going to honour pioneering developments within the adventure park sector with the IAPA Innovation Award.
Category „Product“: Submitted innovations should be sustainable and should offer a benefit for the practice. Furthermore rated will be profitability, increase of security, increase of commercial efficiency, eco-credentials and improvement of operating conditions in adventure parks. Should the submitted product not yet be commercially available, the candidate must be able to present a prototype of it to the jury.
Category “Project“: A pioneering ropes course project will be honoured. Projects that have been realized within the past 36 months can be submitted by individuals as well as construction companies, campaign groups and cooperations.
Category “Design“: In this section we want to award excellent design concepts. You can provide contributions like product design, communicaton design for analogue and digital media including corporate design.
The candidates can assign their submitted innovations to a certain category. However, the jury reserves the right to reassign the innovations to another category than the desired one.
One IAPA Innovation Award 2017 is bestowed in each category. All applicants and the Award winners will be portrayed in the spring issue 2018 of the magazine Oben and on the IAPA website.
The jury is composed of a set of international and independent surveyors for ropes courses and representatives of the producers and the trade press. Also this year, the exhibition visitors will have a vote too, as all submitted contributions will be shown as poster presentations during the opening hours of the exhibition.
The participation is free of charge for all exhibitors at the trade show of the IAPA Adventure Park Meeting. All other participants will be charged 35,- Euro arrangement fee.
The submission runs until November 9th, 2017. The price-giving will take place in Berlin at November 14th, 2017, 9pm.
The competition is divided into two phases.
The first phase includes submitting the innovation in digital form. Please complete the application form available for download and send it via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by 9th of November 2017. Your contact person is Mrs Kristin Duvinage.
The second phase includes a poster presentation of the submitted innovation at the IAPA Adventure Park Meeting 2017 in Berlin. Please fill out the poster templates available for download, overwrite the text sample and add photos, graphics or videos by use of QR codes. Please send the completed template in PDF to email@example.com by 9th of November 2017.
